Everbean Coffee: Shipping & Delivery Policy

1. Free Local Pickup (Echo Bay)

Want to skip the delivery and shipping fees and grab your coffee fresh from the source? We offer free local pickup at Everbean Coffee in Echo Bay.

  • Pickup Location: 284 Watson Road West, Echo Bay

  • Standard Pickup Hours:

    • Thursdays: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM

    • Saturdays: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM

  • Alternative Timing: If these hours don’t work for you, we are happy to accommodate! Please contact us in advance at info@everbeancoffee.com to arrange a custom pickup time.

2. Local Delivery (Echo Bay & Sault Ste. Marie)

We take pride in delivering our coffee personally to ensure maximum freshness. To maintain our "Roast-to-Order" standard, we require a 48-hour window to prepare your beans.

  • Echo Bay (within 3km radius of village): Free local delivery.

  • Sault Ste. Marie: $3.00 flat-rate delivery within city limits.

  • Delivery Days: Every Wednesday.

Order Cut-Off Times:

  • For Wednesday Delivery: Order by Monday at 5:00 PM.

  • Orders placed after these times will be fulfilled on the following scheduled delivery day.

3. Domestic Shipping (Canada)

For customers outside our local delivery zones, we ship using Canada Post, UPS, and Purolator via Shopify Shipping and netParcel. To provide the best value, we offer a mix of flat-rate and calculated shipping based on your location:

  • Free Shipping: In Ontario and Quebec all orders of $75.00 or more qualify for free standard shipping. In all other provinces, except Nunavut and Northwest Territories, orders of $95 or more qualify for free standard shipping.
  • Calculated Rates: Shipping costs are calculated in real-time at checkout based on the weight of your order and your destination.

  • Handling Fee: A $3.00 handling fee is applied to all shipped orders outside of Ontario and Quebec. This covers our packaging and the logistics of getting your fresh roast from Echo Bay to your doorstep.

  • Note on Carrier Selection: For all orders, we compare rates across our partner carriers (Canada Post, UPS, and Purolator) in real-time. We will always select the most cost-effective carrier and route to ensure your coffee arrives safely while keeping your shipping costs as low as possible.

4. Roasting & Processing Time

Because we are a small-batch roaster, we do not keep stale inventory on our shelves.

  • Roast-to-Order: Most shipping orders are roasted and processed within 2–3 business days.

  • Tracking: Once your coffee is packaged and the label is created, you will receive an email with a tracking number.

  • Transit Time: Please allow 2–7 business days for transit depending on your province.

  • P.O. Boxes: We happily ship to P.O. Boxes via Canada Post.

5. International Shipping

At this time, Everbean Coffee only ships within Canada. We are focused on serving our national community with the freshest possible beans.

6. Missing or Lost Packages

If your tracking information shows "Delivered" but you haven't received your package, please contact us at info@everbeancoffee.com within 48 hours. We will work with the carrier to investigate. Please ensure your delivery address is accurate at checkout; we cannot be responsible for orders shipped to incorrectly provided addresses.
